Walsh Nutrient Therapy
The Walsh Institute in the US have carried out ground-breaking research over the past 30 years, analysing differences in biochemistry in those with mental health problems to identify patterns. As a result, they have accrued the largest biochemical database on mental health anywhere in the world.
The findings they report are fascinating. For example, the Walsh database identified not only one type of depression, but 5 completely different biochemical ‘types’, each one requiring a different approach. Walsh’s database analysis also identified clearly recognisable biochemical imbalance hallmarks for other problems such as Anxiety, ADHD and OCD.
These differences exist as the result of a genetic lottery. For example, even with the most perfect diet, you may have inherited a predisposition to not be able to absorb enough zinc. Deficiency in this key nutrient will have a direct impact not only on your overall health, but also on your mental health.
The really exciting news is that we can now address these imbalances, using highly targeted doses of nutrients in order to help ‘epigenetically’ rebalance neurotransmitter levels.
It is a scientific breakthrough which means we can now test precisely for the type of biochemical imbalance which is likely to be the root cause of the problem and then address this directly using supplements.
The Key Clinic is the global leader in this new, more intelligent approach to supporting good mental health. It takes the guesswork out of optimising mental health while reducing the risk factors.
We believe it is a good idea for everyone to have their biochemical predisposition tested, so that we can intelligently keep on top of our mental health and build lasting resilience.
